When we talk about Islamic culture, we may think of many images of its unique characteristics. Veiling is one of symbols of Muslim. It hides parts of women’s body. Also,Islamic architecture create the same atmosphere that veiling does:mysterious and masked.
I want to use the concept of veiling to create a transition space that satisfy different needs from mundane to sacred.

Culture Research
Concept

The difficulty to design is how to create a space that can satisfy various atmosphere from mundane to sacred.Different peoplehave different needs, so the design need to respond to them.

There are three kinds of people :

Islamic

Citizens

Muslim from other places

For Islamic, they need sacred space for their beliefs, yet for citizens, the current greenland is a rare place to relax from daily work.

With curves from different directions, different atmosphere are created. The x-direction curve can be seen as wall which
can limit space. While the y-direction curve can be seen as roof which provide coverage.
With both directions, inner space and courtyard emergence.
